Board & Train
Our Board & Train program lets your dog come stay with a trainer for a minimum of one week. During their stay, the trainer works directly with your dog on the specific goals you’ve requested, whether that’s evaluating your dog, jumpstarting new skills, or focusing on particular behaviour challenges. Every stay is built around clear criteria set by you, so your dog’s training is targeted, purposeful, and tailored to your real-life needs.
While your dog is with us, we do the heavy lifting on the training so you don’t have to figure it all out alone. You’ll get honest feedback, clear updates, and practical next steps so that when your dog comes home, you both feel more confident and ready to keep moving forward together.
Dogs in our Board & Train program live in a calm, structured environment with a consistent daily routine. They are regularly monitored throughout the day, with scheduled potty breaks, exercise, and downtime so they can rest and reset between training sessions. All dogs must be crate trained and fully housebroken before enrolling, so we can keep everyone safe, clean, and comfortable during their stay.
Every Board & Train stay starts with your goals. We design a custom training plan for your dog, then work on those skills through short, focused sessions each day. Most dogs work on core skills like leash walking, sit, down, stay, mat, recall and chill. For dogs who need it, we can also focus on behaviour challenges such as reactivity, over‑arousal, jumping on people, and impulse control around doors, food, and guests. We are experienced trainers, but we are not behaviourists, so in some cases we may be able to help and in others we may recommend that you work with a specialist instead. You’ll go home with clear homework and a plan to keep your dog’s progress going.
